? Frequently Asked Questions
1 How can I get 1MIL tokens to buy pixel zones on the grid?
You can make an exchange on Uniswap. We are currently working on expanding the number of possible exchange sites. Stay tuned!
2 Why is Ethereum used for the transaction?
Any Blockchain transaction requires gas, which means some amount of Ethereum. We operate according to Blockchain and NFT manifest and standards, therefore, minting or editing NFTs requires some gas.
3 What does the cost of zones on the grid depend on?
There are more and less desirable areas on the pixel grid. Based on this, we offer a cost of 1 to 5 MIL per sector. The closer the selected area is to the center, the more expensive it is.
4 Is NFT generated to each pixel or to a zone?
One unique NFT is generated for each 10 by 10 pixel area, so the number of NFTs depends on the area you choose. Thus, 25 NFTs will be generated for an area of 50 by 50 pixels.
5 Which NFT standard do you use, and will it be tradable?
Every NFT that is created on our pixel grid has an ERC-721 standard. This means that you will be able to sell it both inside the 1MillionNFTs app and on external marketplaces.
6 Why such a number of transactions? What does it depend on?
The number of transactions is related to the limitations of the blockchain. In order to keep data secure, block sizes are limited. If we do not comply with these limitations, a number of blockchain principles, including data security, will be violated. Therefore, the number of transactions will vary, depending on the number of selected zones.
7 Is it possible to reserve an area before you buy it?
The app provides a 30-minute reservation that allows you to comfortably conduct a transaction without losing selected sections of the pixel grid.
8 How do I know if I've already bought a plot? Can I see my entire list of NFTs?
To see a list of purchased NFTs, you just need to go to the Editor mode and click on the “Show my NFTs” button in the panel on the left.
9 How to upload a picture? Does it have to be pixelated?
You don't need to pixelate the image yourself: you can upload any rasterized image in the Editor section. When you load it, it is automatically pixelated. We advise you to choose the level of detail depending on the size of the purchased area: the larger the selected field on the grid, the larger the image can be. It is also recommended that the shape of the field corresponds to the shape of the picture.
10 How many times can I repaint areas on a grid?
You can repaint and change the metadata (title, description, and link) an unlimited number of times. But don't forget that each of these procedures will incur a fee.
11 How many references are assigned to an area? How do I see the link?
Each area you purchase can have its own link. It appears when you click on the picture in the panel on the left.
12 Can the rest of the system see my link?
Yes, the link is visible to all visitors and users. It is displayed when you click on the image along with other metadata.
13 How can I buy a grid area that is already occupied?
In the marketplace, you can offer your price for the grid area you are interested in [will be available in version 2.0, stay tuned!]. If the owner of that section agrees, you can buy the entire space or a fragment of it.
14 Will it be possible to sell my NFTs on another marketplace?
Yes, you can sell your NFTs on any marketplace that supports the ERC-721 standard. This is one of the most popular standards, so it shouldn't be hard to find a platform for sale.
15 Is there a limit on the minimum number of pixel zones purchased? What can be the minimum area to buy?
The minimum area to purchase is 10 by 10 pixels, which is the equivalent of 1 NFT.
16 Is the maximum number of pixel zones per member regulated?
You can purchase any number of pixel zones on the grid, there is no limit. But don't forget that you will need Ethereum to mint NFTs.
17 Do the tokens get burned during transactions?
Yes, 50% of tokens are burned during each transaction, so the value of 1MILs grows as the platform evolves.
18 Why is the final cost so high?
The final cost depends on two main factors: the cost of gas and the number of NFTs you want to buy. This cannot be avoided because we offer NFTs that meet the ERC-721 standard. For example, if you buy a 5 by 5 pixel area, that's the equivalent of buying 25 NFTs. Of course, it also requires 1MIL tokens, but so far it doesn't add much to the final cost.
